Introduction

The full name of our organisation is Tianjin Youth Philharmonic Orchestra and Society, abbreviated as TYPhil.

Our concert planning aims to create successful music performance events, providing the audience with high-quality music experiences and establishing TYPhil’s brand image in the market. We also seek to promote the exchange and dissemination of both traditional and modern serious music cultures. The concert will feature a repertoire encompassing various periods and musical genres, primarily focusing on music written for orchestra and soloists.

  • We firmly believe that music is a language without borders, capable of transcending racial, cultural, and national limitations, connecting people together. Therefore, we are committed to promoting diversity and inclusivity in our concerts. The goal of this concert is to deliver exceptional music experiences, providing the audience with unforgettable artistic enjoyment. Through meticulously curated programmes and professional performances, we aim to showcase exquisite musical expressions that immerse the audience in the world of music.

  • Additionally, we aspire to promote music culture through the concert, igniting the audience’s interest and love for music. By showcasing various types and styles of musical works, we aim to expand the audience’s knowledge and understanding of music, opening up new musical horizons for them.

TYPhil, the Tianjin Youth Philharmonic Orchestra, is a vibrant and talented youth musical ensemble dedicated to promoting serious music culture and nurturing the development of young musicians. Our orchestra comprises a group of passionate and professionally trained young musicians from various music schools and backgrounds. Through high-quality music performances, we strive to become outstanding representatives in the music industry.

Conductor and conducting team

The current conductor and music director of TYPhil is Jiajun Li. In the future, we expect to have more conductors from prestigious music institutions both domestically and internationally, as well as renowned musicians, joining our conducting team.
